Sometimes you will log in to the system and see the folder date of a document and think, "wait a second... was this really updated in 2012??!!"... NO!

In the image, you can see this isn't the date the product was updated; it's just when the folder was created - in 2012. Unfortunately, the only way to update these dates in the Citrix system is to create entirely new folders. Because we are cross-linking so many documents, doing that would disrupt the system dramatically, so we have to live with the original folder creation date.
